What is a calorie deficit?

A calorie deficit refers to a state in which you consume fewer calories than your body expends. It's the only way someone can lose weight, if you consume less than you use you will slowly start to decrease your stored energy (fat). By maintaining a calorie deficit over time, you can create a gradual and sustainable reduction in body fat.

Feeling overwhelmed?

Focus on yourself, everyone's in the gym for the same reason, to make THEMSELVES better, not to focus on others. So relax, take your time and get started on your fitness journey.

Should I have rest days?

Of course, you cant expect your muscles to keep growing more and more if you don't give them the time and rest they need. I'd suggest everyone to take at least 1 or 2 rest days per week.
